The World's Smallest & Thinnest 5x Optical Zoom Digital Compact Camera

Olympus has created the world's smallest and thinnest 5x optical zoom lens camera with a 38-190mm range.

The 7.1 megapixel FE-240 packs a 5x optical zoom lens into a stainless steel body that's as slim as typical 3x compact zoom cameras, giving you the long reach of a 5x zoom in an amazingly compact camera (23.4mm thin with the lens closed).

A remarkably easy-to-use camera, the FE-240 has, in addition to its fully automatic point and shoot mode, 13 optimised scene modes to help you capture, great looking portrait, landscape, indoor, night shot, sunset, and fireworks pictures.

To minimise blurring due to subject movement or camera shake in low light photographic situations, the camera's light sensitivity can be increased to ISO 1600 while maintaining 7.1 megapixel resolution. With Digital Image Stabilisation Edit technology, pictures with camera shake can be automatically fixed at a click of a button during playback review.

Under dim or dark conditions, Nightproof Technology ensures that the scene or subject will be clearly visible in the large 2.5 inch LCD screen for precise framing and focus.

For the first time in the FE Series, the FE-240 is available in a colour choice of Black or Silver.
